A row of nine round stones defines the top arc of this half-eternity ring, held securely in a distinctive bar setting. Each gem is separated by a metal bar that acts as a shared prong, a technique that exposes the sides of the stones to light. The band itself is a simple half-round shank providing a clean profile. This digital jewelry file is designed for manufacturing a master pattern; the included sprue geometry indicates its intended use for creating a 3D-printed model for an investment casting workflow.
Q: What is the setting style used for the nine stones? A: The ring features a bar setting, where each of the nine round stones is held between two parallel metal bars. This secures the stones while leaving their sides open.
Q: Is this a full eternity band? A: No, this is a half-eternity band design. The nine stones are set only across the top half of the ring, while the bottom portion of the shank is plain metal.
Q: What is the purpose of the structure at the bottom of the ring in the image? A: The structure at the base is a casting sprue. It is an integral part of this 3D model designed to facilitate the lost-wax casting process when producing the final ring.
