An unbroken circle of round brilliant-cut stones defines this full eternity band, where each gem is secured within a low-profile shared prong setting. The arrangement creates a distinctive scalloped silhouette along both edges of the band. Below the girdle of each stone, the setting forms a small basket with an open gallery, allowing for light entry and simplifying the cleaning of the final cast piece. This digital 3D model is structured to produce a detailed master pattern for lost-wax casting, with the open under-bezel geometry designed to ensure a complete burnout.
Q: What type of setting is used for the stones in this eternity band? A: The model uses a shared prong setting, where adjacent round stones are held by the same prongs. This creates a continuous row of stones and a scalloped look around the entire band.
Q: Is the gallery under the stones open or closed? A: The design features an open gallery. Each stone is set in an individual four-prong basket with open sides, which is visible on the interior of the ring and allows light to pass through.
Q: Is this a full or half-eternity design? A: This is a full eternity band model. The pattern of round stones in shared prong settings continues uninterrupted around the entire circumference of the ring.
