The central focus of this ring is a three-stone arrangement, featuring a prominent cushion-cut center stone flanked by two trillion-cut side stones. Each stone is secured in its own basket setting, with the center stone held by four double prongs and the side stones by three prongs each. The gallery beneath the stones is open, leading down to a continuous band decorated with a fine milgrain edge, and this digital model provides the geometry for 3D printing a precise wax pattern intended for a lost-wax casting process.
Q: What is the style of the prong setting for the central cushion-cut stone? A: The center stone is secured by four sets of double prongs, providing robust support for the cushion cut's corners.
Q: Are the trillion-cut side stones set in a separate basket from the main stone? A: Yes, each of the two trillion-cut side stones is seated in its own individual three-prong basket, distinct from the central setting.
Q: Does the milgrain texture on the band extend all the way around the shank? A: Yes, the model shows a continuous milgrain or beaded edge that encircles the entire outer circumference of the ring's shank.
